Point Foundation for its contribution to a drug free society

The St. Martin Pony League is the proud recipient of the drug freeaward that has been presented to the League for its dedication incombating delinquencies and its assistance in creating a drug free society especially among the youth of the island.
The award was presented to the league during the weekly radio program of the Turning Point Foundation at S.O.S Radio in Marigot. During the program Mr. Jack Hamlett of the SOS radio station was also presented with an award for his anti-drug contribution to the youth society

In front of many dignitaries and many youth organizations that are combating delinquencies and the usage of drugs among the youth the 2012 –2013 Youth Baseball competition of the St. Martin Pony League was closed off with an award ceremony. Players of the Cul de Sac Padres and St. James Yankees received their medals and trophies by for all hands of the Hon. Minister of Sports Mrs. Patricia Lourens accompanied by the Prime Minister Mrs. Sarah Wescott-Williams and the Minister of Health Mr. De Weever. Medals of sub-champions of St. Maarten/St. Martin went to the team of St. James French St. Martin while the Cul de Sac Padres of Dutch St Maarten received the championship trophy. In conclusion the league president thanked all the players and informed them that the award for most valuable player was for all of them. A word of special thanks went out to the Island Gem Foundation for sponsoring all the uniforms for this season.

Tournament/Competiton in which he took part: Rookie in the 2012 Double A competition playing with "Mets". Played on the 15-16 selection of the St. Martin Pony League against Bonaire
Character in general: Victor has a great character and is very dedicate in the sport of Baseball he is considered by the The League President as one of the best 15-16 youth baseball player of St. Martin He has a good bat,good speed and knows how to hit the ball with a good swing.
Time playing Baseball: Victor has been playing baseball from a very young age. Before Joining the St. Martin Pony League in 2011,Victor was playing for Liga Solano in the Dominican Republic.
